Which Riding Experience Are You Looking For?
We have several different types of rides available throughout the day from short trips to all day excursions.
You'll enjoy a variety of horse riding experiences on some of Malaysia's finest horses with expert guidance from our staff comprising capable and fully certified horsemen and horsewomen.
Our staff accompany riders wherever they ride, with the strictest instructions to ensure riding safety under all circumstances.
We prefer small groups and as per request could split the experienced riders from the beginners and novice riders. Note that trotting and collected canter on the beach is allowed for experienced riders only.

Riding Rates
Experienced Riders: RM160 (€35) per hour
Inexperienced/first timer riders: An additional RM25 (€5) per hour
(for lead-rope to provide personal attention to the horse and rider)
Holiday Package: 15-hours of riding: RM1,200 (€275)
(during off-peak season)
This 15-hour package can be shared among friends/family.

Fun Rides on Lead Rope
Inexperienced? First-time rider? Fun rides let you experience horseback riding with complete peace of mind as our horses are led by our staff on foot, providing one-on-one attention to both horse and rider.
Duration: 30 minutes or 1 hour.
Beach or Jungle Rides
Ride leisurely through secondary rainforest, crossing an enchanting jungle stream at the Seven Wells Waterfall. Next, head onwards to Pantai Kok (Kok Beach) where Telaga Harbour soon comes into view. At Telaga Harbour, take a break and admire the gorgeous sail and power yachts glistening in the Mediterranean-like marina before you ride back to the Island Horses stables through the pine groves along the beach.
Duration: 1 or 2 hours.
Kampung Ride
Meander through the local kampung (villages). Appreciate the traditional Malay houses and observe everyday kampung life. Ride onwards to take in the unique scenery of Langkawi, with its bird life and water buffaloes in the vast paddy fields.
Coming back through the kampung, wander through the rubber trees which make up the rubber plantations. Passing the rubber plantations, ride through the secondary rainforest where our local guide explains about certain plants and wildlife along the way. Our ride locations may vary, subject to season and weather conditions but you are guaranteed of the true idyllic Langkawi experience on this horseback ride.

Perdana Mountain Trail
Our exclusively charted 75-kilometre mountain trail is exciting and challenging. Comprising a series of smaller trails which make up the Perdana Mountain Trail, this horseback riding adventure brings you right into the world's oldest virgin rainforest. Listen as stories unfold from our experienced guide as he lets you in on the secrets of traditional medicinal plants and other extraordinary masterpieces of Mother Nature as you ride through this amazing tropical jungle.
Although the trails can be extreme, they've been highly rated by experienced horsemen as among the best treks in the world. It's the trail for serious and experienced riders who are comfortable with all-day trekking. Take on the ultimate mountain and jungle equestrian trekking on our 75-kilometre long track which threads through the beautiful and mysterious virgin rainforest of the 550 million-year-old mountain range of Gunung Matchinchang.
